Job description
Sunny Saskatchewan is looking for amazing cooks, in
this Full-time permanent job your Duties will be:
- Prepare
and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods - Prepare
and cook special meals for people with allergies - Ensure
foods is cooked well and completely to avoid foodborne illness - Supervise
kitchen helpers - Oversee
kitchen operations. - Perform
opening and closing procedures - Clean
and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift. - Set up
and stock food items and other necessary supplies. - Maintain
records of food and supplies - Ensure
cleanliness of cooking utensils to avoid cross-contamination - May plan
menus, determine the size of food portions, estimate food requirements - Train
kitchen staff.
What do you need? Here are the requirements:
- Completion
of secondary school and relevant cooking experience of 3 years and above - Able to
communicate in English - Able to
work under pressure - Should
be comfortable with long-standing hours - Able to
lift loads occasionally - Able to
stick to deadlines - Should
be organized
- Waged Offered: $15.00 CAD/hour
- Number of Openings: 2
- Years of Experience
Required: 3 - Education Required: Specialized Training
- LMIA Status: LMIA in process
